Attorney Ralph Stanley Francois has over fifteen years of extensive trial litigation experience.  He concentrates his practice in civil and criminal litigation involving consumer law, commercial transactions, criminal law, family law, immigration litigation, foreclosure, and bankruptcy. 

 

 

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

Mr. Francois earned his B.S. in Chemistry from Florida State University in 1992.  He then worked as a teacher of Chemistry and Physical Sciences in the Dade County Public School System from 1992 to 1994. Subsequently, he attended law school at the University of Miami, where he earned a doctorate of jurisprudence (J.D.) in 1997.  While in law school, Mr. Francois’ course work included corporate and public law; administrative law; federal housing administration and beneficiary enforcement of public law; state and local government law with a focus on city and community projects, financing, zoning and decentralization; contract; international business transactions; commercial law; litigation skills and civil trial seminar.    

 

     

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND LEGAL ADVOCACY

Mr. Francois has extensive litigation experience.  He has practiced law for over 15 years.  Mr. Francois has handled complex civil litigation involving contract disputes, commercial transactions, international business transactions, foreclosure, criminal law, family law, immigration, and bankruptcy. Prior to opening his own firm, Mr. Francois worked as a law clerk for Florida Immigrant Advocacy Center and was a certified legal intern at the U.S. Securities Exchange Commission where he examined brokerage firms prospectus and financial statements to determine compliance with provisions of federal securities regulations, researched legal issues, drafted memoranda for administrative proceedings, prepared complaints for civil court litigation, and attended court proceedings.
