This Year Aubry Blague will be in the bateys of the Dominican Republic. We will travel to DR this year and drive there where a lot of Haitian brothers and sisters working in the sugar canes plantations and raising children as well. We are paying them a visit this year with smile, lots of toys and gifts.
At every holiday season Andre Aubry AKA Aubry Blague radio host, comedian and long time resident of Florida thoughts are with the children of Haiti, his native land. This year will mark 22 years of bringing toys and gifts to Haiti . Its focus is to bring a large collection of new toys to disadvantaged families in Haiti. He wants every year to be bigger than last year. He collects the toys year round. Andre AUBRY believes The children of Haiti deserve a real Christmas, to remind them that a lot of people are thinking about them. His # 1 goal is to pass that tradition to the children of the diaspora as a way to remember the land of their parents and to continue the traditon for generations to come.
This initiative of collecting toys and new clothes (for children aged 1 to 12 years) although no one regarding their age ever been turned away.
"It's a way for me and my friends that have supported me to keep alive this solid operation for disadvantaged children in Haiti," said André Aubry, principal initiator of the charitable movement, he is very satisfied with the generous gestures made in the past by many compatriots to come in aid of those needy children.
"These successes in the past show that the Haitian community has the heart for this wonderful movement , and we sincerely thank all the people that have contributed in previous years," said the humorist, host of the radio program "Radio Compass" on WLQY station 1320 AM.
